Meet
Baxter!
(#2609 )
Baxter is approximately 9-12 month old. He weighs 13 lbs and is
a belge rough coat Brussels griffon. Baxter was a shelter rescue
and he is a sweetie!
Baxter has lots of energy and loves to play with other pets, preferably
those the same size as he is since he is an over excitable boy.
He loves to be with his foster mom and follows her everywhere
– a real Velcro griff. He loves to give kisses and cuddle with
you! Baxter does fairly well on a leash but needs some more training.
He is working on his housebreaking but with any griffon you should
expect some retraining when the transition is happening. Baxter
is good at doing his business outside as long as he is there when
he needs to go. He hasn’t yet learned to let you know when he
needs to go out so you have to keep an eye on him. Baxter does
fine in a crate and sleeps through the night in his crate – but
likes to be near you so that he knows you are there.
Baxter is healthy; neutered, current on vaccinations, micro chipped
and on heart worm preventative. He is being fostered in Orange,
CA.

If you are
interested in adoption please fill out our Adoption Application. If you would like more information, please contact
Vicki at vboneill@optonline.net.
Keep in mind
that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where
they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area
is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get
the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to
travel in the cabin with the passenger.
