Meet Banjo!
(#2506)
Banjo is a 4.5 year old boy who came to rescue from a breeder
surrender from Arkansas. He weighs about 14 lbs. and he came to
us with all of his hair shaved off – even his beard! Banjo is
starting to get a little fuzzy now and we think he will be a nice
looking boy when he gets more of his coat and his beard grown
in. He is black and tan (OK – maybe a little grey too) – and he
is a cute little gremlin now.
Banjo is an all around happy guy. His tail is constantly wagging
and he moved in to his foster home and settled in right away.
He loves all the other dogs and is very happy to play with kids.
In general – he just wants to please. He comes when he is called
and goes out to do his business when he is asked to – in spite
of his short hair and the cold!
Banjo has been completely vetted and neutered. He is ready to
look for a new forever home. He is hoping for a nice warm place
on someone’s bed (loves to sleep on his foster mom’s bed!)
Banjo is working on leash training and house breaking skills.
He is up to date on vaccines, microchipped and he takes heartworm
preventative. He is being fostered near Columbus, Ohio.
If you are
interested in adoption please fill out our Adoption Application. If you would like more information, please contact
Vicki at vboneill@optonline.net.
Keep in mind
that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where
they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area
is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get
the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to
travel in the cabin with the passenger.
