Meet Bambi!
(#2448)
Bambi
is a little over 4.5 years old. She is a red rough spayed female,
and she weighs a little over eight pounds.
Bambi's full name is "Bashful Bambi Babe". Bashful because she
is a little shy, Bambi because she is such a "dear" and Babe because
she is so cuddly. She has a very sweet little face that matches
her personality. She does tend to stick her little tongue out
but that just makes her more endearing. She is very quiet and
calm. She has just a nubbin of a tail so she expresses her joy
and excitement by wiggling her whole body.
Bambi is crate trained but she has the run of the house in her
foster home because she is so well behaved. As mentioned earlier
she is very quiet. About the only time she has barked was because
she was upstairs and she wanted to be downstairs with her foster
parents. She could be a real "velcro" dog (but in a good way).
Bambi is current on all her vaccines and is heart worm negative
and on preventative meds. Her ears will need be monitored since
she has had some infection problems in the past.
Bambi had knee surgery on July 29th. Her recuperation time should
be around 6-8 weeks.
Bambi is located in Kansas.
If you are
interested in adoption please fill out our Adoption Application. If you would like more information, please contact
Vicki.
Keep in mind
that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where
they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area
is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get
the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to
travel in the cabin with the passenger.
