Meet Arizona Jules!

A special girl! Jules is very happy, smart and outgoing. She NEEDS and must have a walker / hiker mom and/or dad and will shine as the only "kid", both 2 legged and 4 legged. She is a velcro dog with excellent hearing in case you try to sneak away. She does not touch anything that is not hers - just don't leave the food bowl down!! She is an alert or watch dog but not a barker. She alerts to the phone, doorbell, alarm clock, stove timer, anything that rings, beeps or buzzes. She loves to "go" anywhere - get the paper or mail, walk, the groomer, and loves road trips! She is an eager learner, wants to please and be praised - well, really she wants the treat!

On walks she waits at the curb for mom to say "cross over.” She has free run of the house and uses a dog door without fail and is also crate trained. She will sleep on your bed, her bed or her open crate, and loves to travel in her crate or doggie car seat for safety. She would love to show you her regular sit etc. but Hi-5 and roll over are her specialties! She is slow to warm up and is a little shy but once she has the routine down pat she is a spitfire! Zooming is fun especially if mom is clapping!

Keep in mind that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to travel in the cabin with the passenger.
