Meet April!
April
is a 3 1/2 year old Brussels Griffon that was recently rescued
from a puppy mill. She is loving her new life outside of a cage
and her little tail has never quit wagging! She is crate-trained
and doing great with the housetraining.
April loves other dogs and spends hours romping and wrestling
with the four Affenpinschers in her foster home. She would love
a home with another dog for her to play with!
April is a true Velcro griff and follows her foster parents everywhere.
She is a great lap dog and loves to watch TV. She is getting used
to her new surroundings and is still easily startled so a fenced
yard is a requirement. She is working on the leash-training.
April weighs about 10 pounds. She is spayed, up to date on vaccinations,
microchipped, and on heartworm preventative. She has the sweetest
and most gentle personality and is just looking for the right
family to spoil her rotten!
April is located near London, Ohio.
If you are
interested in adoption please fill out our adoption
application. If you would like more information, please contact
Susan.
Keep in mind
that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where
they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area
is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get
the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to
travel in the cabin with the passenger.

Update
We traveled
to Ohio on May 22 to pick up our little doll in London, OH. We
met Nikki and learned about April. We left and she became "glued"
to mommy. We took turns driving, but she was nervous with Dad.
Imediately upon return home, the girls become good pals. They
started eating out of same bowls, water bowl, etc. We are still having trust issues with Daddy, but Dad is being patient and it is a work in progress.
