Annie is a sweet Brussels Griffon mix who was found wandering the streets with a shock collar wrapped around her neck several times with the prongs embedded in her skin (it was sized for a Rottie.)
In spite of what must have been an awful life up until now – Annie is an incredibly sweet girl who only wants to please everyone she meets. She is gentle and uncomplicated with an easygoing personality. Annie is very grateful for any attention she receives. She is very playful with other dogs and gets along equally well with tiny ones and larger ones. Annie greets everyone with an enthusiastic smile and a wagging tail (her tail is not docked).
We think Annie is about 9 years old. She weighs about 20 lbs. She is spayed and is on heartworm preventative. Annie is pretty well housebroken.
Please think about opening your home to this very sweet girl who deserves a happy forever home for the balance of her life – she is healthy now and has lots of love to share.
Annie is being fostered in Charlottesville, Virginia.
If you would like more information,
contact Vicki. If you are interested
in adoption please fill out our Adoption Application.
Keep in mind that we prefer
to place dogs within driving distance of where they are being fostered. If someone
from outside the local area is approved for adoption, they must be willing to
fly in to get the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to
travel in the cabin with the passenger.
