Meet Allie! (#2549)
Allie is a gorgeous red rough tiny girl, 8.5 lbs, approx. 2-3 yrs old,
spayed, vaccinated, healthy young girl. She is crate trained, pottys
outside and gets along with all dogs, both large and small.
She has lived her enitre life outdoors and was not socialized with people.
While in her foster home she is adjusting to living the life of luxury
indoors, however it will take time and patience for her to become a typical
velcro Griff.
Like many non-socialized dogs, she is skittish and startles easily by
everyday sounds. A fenced in yard is a must ! Allie is terrified of men
and will need to go to a home with females only and no children. She would
do best with another dog(s) in the home to help her feel safe and emulate
their behavior. She will follow her foster mom around the house but still
shys away when she's tried to be pet or picked up.
Allie is slowly learning to trust people but will require a quiet household
with a female owner who is gentle and patient. When she is not nervous she
is a bubbly, happy girl and enjoys all kinds of treats.
Allie is being fostered in Indianapolis, IN.

If you are interested in adoption please fill out our Adoption Application. If you would like more information, please contact Cristen at emmaresq@yahoo.com.
Keep in mind that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to travel in the cabin with the passenger.
