Thank you for all of your good
thoughts, well wishes and support during Pop-Tart's "travels" over the last two
days. I am happy to report that she has been caught and is back in the arms of
her mama, Lyn! She is in great shape but will still spend a little time at the
vet on fluids to ensure she's fully hydrated.

Went missing while at a dog show in Marshall, Michigan

Pop-Tart went missing
on Saturday night, August 6, 2005 while at a dog show in Marshall, MI. The showgrounds
are surrounded by heavy forest, thick underbrush, ravines, etc. She was last seen
early Sunday morning, August 7th but fled in the other direction when her name
was called. Her owner/mom is distraught and hoping that any and all sightings
will be reported. Pop-Tart is ten months old with cropped ears. She weighs just
seven (7) pounds, is microchipped, and is sometimes shy with strangers.
Her description has been
announced on the showgrounds and many people have come forward to assist in searching
for her but as is typical with any dog that is in unfamiliar territory she is
overwhelmed by the need to flee. The local police, veterinarians, rescue organizations
have been contacted and flyers have been posted. There is a reward for her return.
