Chewy has been found and is home safe and sound!

From Chewy's family:

Just wanted to say thank you for this awesome website and that Chewy is home safe (very tired) and sound. He had a few stickers and mats which we believe means he was probably sleeping in some field somewhere and not in someones home. He is also limping a little on his front left paw but it doesn't look like a broken bone. We got a call at around 8 pm that a couple looking to buy a car at a car dealership on Mchenry (two or three miles from our home) found him lying under a vehicle and phoned to say they had found him. One week and a day later!! What a great reunion. He was so happy to see his family and we were extremely happy to see him too!!!

Missing from the vicinity of

July 8, 2005

Chewy is a very small Brussels Griffon, He weighs 5 pounds, and is about 8 inches at the shoulder and a foot long. He is brownish red in color, scruffy hair and large dark eyes. He has a protruding lower left canine tooth.

Chewy wandered from his home on the night of July 8th.

He likes the park on Tokay that is close to his home on Codding Dr. in Modesto, CA. He lives in the vicinity of Tokay and Codding Dr.

This is an 11 year old boy's dog and he is heartbroken.

If you see or hear of a dog that might match Chewy's description, please contact NBGR representative Bethann Lane.
